Global payments company, Visa has selected 23 African companies for the inaugural cohort of the Visa Africa Fintech Accelerator which was launched in June.
The selected startups will benefit from 1:1 mentoring from experts and founders in the ecosystem from Africa, Visa-specific training, partnership opportunities and undisclosed funding. Additionally, they will enjoy an array of product perks and discounts from more than 100 vendors worth $200,000. This includes credits from Google Cloud and HubSpot.
Our participation selection to the program is a remarkable milestone in our journey to provide affordable financial services to underserved communities in Africa. To top it off, we stand out as the only Zambian company chosen for this program, and we’re ready to make the most of this incredible opportunity. Throughout the Visa Accelerator Program, we aim to tap into the invaluable expertise, guidance, and resources it offers. This will allow us to not only strengthen the PremierCredit offering but also expand our reach into new markets.
A heartfelt congratulations to the other exceptional companies accepted into the program. Here’s to the exciting journey ahead!
